The court in Kuwait ruled today that the Kuwait Stock Exchange should resume trading on Monday.
On November 13, in unprecedental ruling the court ordered the exchange closure to protect investors from further losses. Later on the same day the cabinet appealed against the administrative court’s verdict to suspend trading at Kuwait Stock Exchange as it’s not in favor of the country’s economy.
The administrative court will continue examine the lawsuit filed by an investor who said he suffered heavy losses because of a sharp slide by the KSE Index over the past two months.
The court can still issue a ruling to close the bourse again or it can close the case.
