Foreign investors purchased slightly bigger volume of stocks for second week in a row

Foreign investors purchase AED 490.9 million worth of shares on DFM during the last week, and sold AED 483 million

  • Value of shares bought by institutional investors reaches AED 208.5 million during last week, and value of shares sold reached AED 353.1 million

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week   (December 21 – December 25) reached AED 490.9 million comprising 40.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 483 million comprising 39.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 7.8 million during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 208.5 million comprising 17.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 353.1 million which constitutes 29.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 144.5 million during the period, as aggregate sell.
