UAE markets will remain closed next Sunday, January 4th, 2009, in observance of the official mourning announced today over the death of Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, former UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain, said today Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority, according the official news agency WAM.
