An amendment to Law No3 of 2004 governing departure fees from Dubai International Airport was issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai.
Under the new amendment, departure fees from Dubai airports will rise to Dh75 (equal to 20 US Dollars) for all passengers, excluding children under the age of two and airline crew.
The amendment is effective as of May 1, 2009.
