Mohammed Bin Rashed Establishment for Young Business Leaders today announced that ‘Star Wood’, Member of the governmental purchasing programme for Young Business Leaders, won two contracts to complete projects for Al Habai Constructions, and Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation. This announcement comes in line with MBRE’s continuous efforts to support young entrepreneurs and strengthen the partnership between them and both the public and private sector.
The first contract was signed between Star Wood and Al Habai Constructions and it is worth of AED 1,790,000. According to this partnership ‘Star Wood’ will provide doors, cabinets and kitchen equipment to the projects carried out by Al Habai.
Ali Al Habai, Chairman of Al Habai Constructions, said: “We are proud to sign this contract with Star Wood. This initiative reflects our strong belief in the critical role that private sector has to play in supporting national enterprises which are one of the main pillars in the economy of Dubai and the UAE. We are happy to announce that we are completely prepared to help and support the members of MBRE who work across different business sectors.â€
Star Wood also signed a contract worth AED 700,000 with Al Shafar National Contracting in coordination with Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation to supply doors for a special project for Awqaf Foundation.
Mr. Ahmed Hassan Nasser, director of Investment and Real Estate Development Department at Dubai Awqaf & Minors’ Affairs Foundation, said: “This initiative comes in line with our efforts to support young national projects. We also provide MBRE members special locations to establish their outlets and businesses. This reflects our role towards our country and the UAE nationals.â€
