UAE’s foreign trade exceeded AED 310bn in the first half of the current year, reported the official news agency WAM.
The imports during this period stood at worth AED 213bn while the total value of non-oil exports was AED 29bn. Re-exports during the same period showed a surge to AED 68bn, Director of Customs Affairs at the Federal Customs Authority Ahmed Saeed Al Dhahiri said that it is for the first time a half yearly statistical report is released on the national level.
