His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group, on Thursday received Paris Saint-Germain captain and midfielder Claude Makelele and PSG President, Robin Leproux in the Emirates Group Headquarters in Dubai.
During his stay, Makelele, currently considered as the leading defensive midfielder in the game, will be hosting a coaching clinic at 7he Sevens, Emirates’ sporting venue, as well as a signing session and enjoying a visit to Emirates’ acclaimed Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa.
Sheikh Ahmed said, “France is a very important market to Emirates, and it is an honour for us to be to offer our support to a team, such as Paris Saint-Germain, that has such a loyal following. We recently extended our contract up to the 2014 season and this is another indication of our long term commitment to France and to the sport of football.
