Mamma Mia On Ice made its much-awaited GCC debut when it opened to a packed theatre on Monday, November 30, at the Airport Expo Dubai. The show is part of the ‘Eid in Dubai’ celebration organised by the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (formerly DSF Office) marking Eid Al Adha and the 38th UAE National Day.
Professional skaters of Olympics fame dazzled audiences in a two-hour musical based on the blockbuster movie Mamma Mia! The musical spectacle will run until December 7, 2009. The musical also has a live band performing twenty-two ABBA hits including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, I Have a Dream, The Winner Takes It All, Super Trouper, Take a Chance On Me, and Voulez-vous.
There will be two shows per day at 5:30pm and at 8:30pm, except on November 30th, and December 6th and 7th when the show will be held at 8:30pm.
