- Dubai Islamic Bank subsidiary receives ISO 9001:2008 accreditation

Tanmyah, a leading provider of security, maintenance and labour services and a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), announced today that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for consistency in delivering quality management strategies by the Bureau of Assessments Services, UK (BAS-UK).
Abdullah Al Hamli, Chief Executive Officer, DIB, and Chairman of Tanmyah, received the certificate presented by BAS-UK. Also present at the accreditation ceremony were Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of Human Resources, DIB, and Board Member of Tanmyah, and Ali Al Sayegh, CEO of Tanmyah. The ceremony was also attended by a number of senior executives from BAS and Tanmyah.
Tanmyah was launched in 2001 by DIB to cater to the increasing demand for security, maintenance and labour services in the UAE corporate sector. The firm provides labour and operational support for a wide variety of services, including building security, maintenance, cleaning and ancillary services.
Tanmyah received the ISO accreditation for ensuring speedy service delivery, ability to enhance customer satisfaction, and for making significant qualitative improvements to its overall quality management programme. The ISO 9001:2008 status applies to all types of organisations, and is a recognition of international best practice quality and service management.
