The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, organizers of Dubai Shopping Festival, has begun receiving entries for the DSF 2010 Journalism Award, an initiative established since 1996 to honour the efforts of journalists in the UAE and the region.
Categories for this year’s Award are Best Local Feature, DSF Prolific Writer, Best Daily Coverage, Best Pan Arab Feature, and Best Magazine Feature. The Best Daily Coverage award will be given to a team in one newspaper. All other categories will have a winner and runners-up position.
While winners will take home a trophy and prize money of $7000, runners-up will receive a trophy and $5000. The winning team for the Best Daily Coverage will get $10,000.
