Mohammed bin Sulayem unveils two new super bikes at Gulf Bike Festival

Mohammed Bin Sulayem, FIA Vice President and President of the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE), unveiled two new bikes during the opening of the Gulf Bike Festival on Thursday, February 4, at Dubai Festival City. The BMW S1000RR and the Honda VFR were the two latest super bikes that will grace the roads of Dubai. The Gulf Bike Festival ends on Feb 6th with the Status Quo concert.

The BMW S1000RR is a super bike manufactured by BMW Motorrad to compete in the 2009 Superbike World Championship. Powered by a 999 cc engine, it features traction control and produces 193 horse power to reach a maximum speed of over 200 kms/hr.

The Honda VFR1200F is a 1,237 cc V4 engine sport touring motorcycle from Honda. It has the first dual clutch transmission offered on a motorcycle.
