Today, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received Mr. Kaspar Villiger, Chairman of Swiss UBS AG.
The meeting reviewed activities of the Swiss company in financial and investment consultancy services through its regional centre at the DIFC.
Sheikh Mohamed and Mr. Villiger discussed the world economic and financial situations and observers’ outlook for global economy within the international governmental efforts to stimulate economic growth.
The UBS Chairman commented that he considers the outlook of UAE economy as ”promising”, as it holds fresh opportunities for recovery of economic development locally and regionally.
The audience was attended by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO of Emirates Group, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of Dubai Ruler’s Court and Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Governor of the DIFC.
