Under the patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, INSEAD’s Abu Dhabi Campus will be inaugurated on next Monday, 28th June 28th. The Graduation Ceremony of Masters of Entrepreneurial Leadership Programme will also be held.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan will unveil the plaque and tour the Campus building.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General, Abu Dhabi Education Council, and senior educators will attend the inaugurtion ceremony In 2007, INSEAD established the centre in Abu Dhabi for executive education and research with the generous support of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) to develop business education across the Middle East, offering insights into advanced managerial ideas and worldwide business practices and contributing to the development of the region through in-depth research of important business topics of both regional and global interest.
Over the past three years, the centre evolved into a Campus to include resident faculty, a case development centre, in addition to global research initiatives including, Private Equity and Innovation ‘&’ Policy. The portfolio of executive education programmes has been widened to serve the requirements in the region and INSEAD’s Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) will launch its first Middle East section in October 2010.
This year represents an important milestone in INSEAD’s illustrious history as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the business school for the world, bringing together people, cultures and ideas from around the world to change lives and transform organisations.
The inauguration of the Abu Dhabi campus marks another important development for INSEAD’s educational reach in the Middle East .
