HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum paid today AED100, 000 and a laptop to each of 54 top students of the 12th grade nationwide in recognition of their outstanding performance in the secondary school exams.
The donation of the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was paid out in the ceremony held at Grand Hyatt Hotel attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed, senior officials and guardians under patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
Minister of Education Humaid Al Qatami commended care given by the UAE leadership to education, citing the donation of Sheikh Mohammed to the distinguished students who performed well in the secondary school exams in the academic year 2009- 2010. “The donation is award to outstanding students”.
He reiterated his thanks to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in the name of the Ministry of Education, staff of education sector and the honoured students. Meanwhile all the employees, guardians and students thanked Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed for gracing the event.
