The Regulations and Compliance Commission (RCC) of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched its e-Services through its website www.khda.gov.ae. E-Services will make it possible for KHDA customers to access permit related processes through the KHDA website and track their requests online. E-Services will cover all customers’ applications for issuance of new permits for educational services as well as the renewal, amendment of permits. This will help eliminate the need for customers to visit KHDA for such requests.
The e-Services will streamline all communication for permit related processes between KHDA and customers and improve customer service, as well as providing a central point for information and updates regarding the administration of educational institutes in Dubai.
Schools, training institutes and early learning centres (both new and existing) will now be able to apply, renew, cancel and amend their educational permits online with this, user-friendly tool. Existing customers and educational permit holders will also be able to access the comprehensive online service and manage all aspects of their permit administration, as well as apply for approval of their proposed adverts. In addition, the second phase will allow higher education institutes to access and utilise the system.
The electronic application will reduce the need for customers to visit the KHDA premises to submit applications and documents for each stage of their permit process, which was the case before the e-Services was launched.
Mohammed Darwish, Chief of the Regulations and Compliance Commission, said “the new e-Services website improves the management of our customer service for every school, training institute and early learning centre in Dubai. All requests and applications will be acknowledged within 24 hours of being received and the new e-Services website allows us to be in direct contact with all of our customersâ€.
