The Ministry of Interior has set working hours at the Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and the Departments of Naturalisation nationwide from 09am to 06p at all service sections to speed up transactions of clients during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, assistant undersecretary of the ministry for naturalisation, residency and ports affairs announced that work teams have been set up to process transactions of public and upgrade services to clients in line with the total quality concepts.
Al Menhali congratulated the higher leadership on advent of Ramadan, stressing that the residency departments across the UAE will continue rendering services to ease procedures for public.
Meanwhile, the directorate of residency and foreigners affairs in Abu Dhabi has announced its preparedness for Ramadan.
Col. Ibrahim Al Sarkal, deputy director general of the directorate said the department is ready to implement the instructions of police command on the need to render best services at all departments in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region.
For his part, Col. Mohammed Saeed Mohammed bin Khatim, acting deputy director general of the directorate of residency and foreigners affairs in Fujairah said the department is seeking to employ all efforts to provide distinguished services to public during Ramadan.
