Emaar Hospitality Group has ventured into its second independent restaurant operation with the introduction of a new concept restaurant at The Dubai Mall. The newly opened Madeleine, a French Café & Boulangerie, offers contemporary and casual French cuisine in a chic ambience overlooking The Dubai Fountain.

Emaar Hospitality Group brings expertise in operating a range of different restaurants across its properties in Dubai. The expansion into operating stand-alone restaurants reiterates Emaar Hospitality Group’s vision to provide the community with the complete lifestyle experience.

Mr. Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Office, Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Hotels & Resorts, said: “With over 40 restaurants in our portfolio, launching Madeleine marks another positive step in Emaar Hospitality Group’s expansion plans. After a year of opening our first independent restaurant, Downtown Deli, also located in The Dubai Mall, we have proven our proficiency in managing quality food and beverage across individual restaurants as well.”

He added: “Madeleine will be the ideal place to relax with friends or family while enjoying exceptional French cuisine in elegant surroundings. The restaurant is committed to providing visitors with exceptional service and quality in the idyllic ambience.”

Located on the first floor of The Dubai Mall, the restaurant provides guests with breathtaking views of The Dubai Fountain from its outdoor terrace. Madeleine has the largest terrace in The Dubai Mall for al fresco dining, and can accommodate up to 271 guests with spacious seating offered indoor and outdoor.

Wooden flooring with bric-a-brac props complement the café’s traditional French inspired decor. Madeleine also features a semi-open kitchen, a mouthwatering cake display, and a traditional vitrine display for quiches, pastries, and sandwiches that are ready to take away. The café style canopy and marble table tops underscore a tasteful renaissance mood.

The restaurant offers a casual dining experience, perfect for a quick meal after a shopping spree with friends or family. The menu features traditional French artisanal cuisine. Signature dishes include steak tartare, Croque-monsieur, sweet and savoury crepes, chicken chasseur, crème brulee, poire belle-hélène, duck confit, Normandy apple tarts and of course the signature Madeleines. Opening hours are from 10 am to 10pm on weekdays and 10 am to 12 midnight on weekends.

Emaar Hospitality Group has five hotels in its Dubai portfolio – The Address Downtown Dubai, The Address Dubai Mall, The Address Dubai Marina, The Address Montgomerie Dubai and The Palace – The Old Town. The group also manages a diversified portfolio of hospitality assets such as hotels, serviced residences, golf resorts, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, recreation clubs and Dubai Marina Yacht Club.
