The Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah recently welcomed HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud on his visit to Makkah. The Prince, Founder and Chairman of one of the world’s most successful and diversified financial investment enterprises, Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) was on an official visit to inspect the Clock Tower hotel and surrounding properties within the complex in Makkah.
The Prince was welcomed by Omar Boujlid, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah. The tour included a visit to the hotel’s deluxe Amiri suite, where he commended the decor, spaciousness and amenities. The Prince was impressed at the excellent location of the hotel, which is situated directly on the Haram Court facing King Abdul Aziz Gate at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and is part of the new seven-tower Abraj Al Bait Complex.
Commenting on the hotel, Prince Al Saud said: “This is the right product for Makkah.†During his visit and tour, the Prince was briefed about all the facilities available in the hotel including the hotel’s occupancy rate, average room rate and number of employed Saudis. The hotel’s effort to boost the Saudization program in the region was recognized and appreciated by the Prince.
