Visitors to the Emirates Classic Car Show Festival in Downtown Dubai, organised by Emaar Properties in association with the Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE) and with the support of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development, was in store for a pleasant surprise on the opening day.
Among the over hundred classic cars that were on display along Emaar Boulevard overlooking Burj Khalifa, was an original Batmobile 1989. The Batmobile displayed by the Al Attar family, who are passionate classic car collectors, is one of only four in the world.
The Emirates Classic Car Show Festival will continue through Dec. 4, and will be marked by competitions for the best cars in various categories.
The third edition of the classic car show in Downtown Dubai was inaugurated on Thursday, as part of Emaar’s UAE National Day celebrations, by Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties, Mr Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the ATCUAE and Mr Horst Brüning, President of Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens (FIVA).
Detailed descriptions of the cars are displayed as part of the show to educate visitors on the make and model of the classic vehicles.
