Flydubai has taken delivery of 13 aircrafts so far from a total number of 50 Boeing 730-800s it had ordered.
Boeing and the Flydubai had jointly announced the order for 50 Next-Generation 737-800s at the Farnborough Airshow earlier in July 2008.
FlyDubai will receive the remaining number of aircrafts by the end of 2016 as part of its commitment to increase the fleet and expand its route network, said a statement.
The number of destinations flydubai will operate flights upon receipt of the entire fleet will be determined by a number of market factors at that time; said a spokesperson at flydubai- Dubai’s low cost carrier.
The last four aircrafts flydubai has added to its fleet boasts the new Boeing Sky Interior.
