Telecom service provider du announced yesterday that its one-year-old video-on-demand (VoD) service is now 3D-capable and has started airing its first 3D content.
The company said that it reached a deal with On Demand Group of the UK to air du’s first 3D movie, Street Dance3D.
According a statement, the company plans to add more 3D movies. New movie titles will be added to the PayTV service each month, said du.
The move by the telcom comes after Orbit Showtime Network announced its move into satellite 3D PayTV in early December.
