In recognition of its leadership and excellence in the health insurance field, The National Health Insurance Company-Daman has been honored with the “Health Insurer of the Year” Award at the MENA Insurance Awards.
The MENA awards, which are organized by Gulf Insurance Review-a leading GCC-focused industry publication, recognize insurance companies in the region for demonstrating exceptional performance as assessed by an international panel of independent industry experts. Daman was awarded for demonstrating its strong commitment to meeting diverse customer needs with a coherent development strategy.

In addition to being awarded the ‘Health Insurer of the Year’ for two consecutive years by the Gulf Insurance Review, Daman was also a recipient of the ‘Medical Insurer of the Year’ award and the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ award from INSUREX, the annual conference for insurance companies in the Middle East in 2009, as well as the INSUREX ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ award in 2010.
