In cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, ADTA, Emirates Palace announced today the sponsorship of the ‘Arts of Cooking Festival – Abu Dhabi Gourmet 2011,’ which will be held in the capital from February 2 to 17 ,2011.
Janet Abrahams, executive director of sales and marketing department at Emirates Palace said the festival “is being enjoyed locally, regionally and globally as one of the most prominent events in the hotel industry and art of cooking.” She added, “Emirates Palace is keen to provide all the elements of success to this festival, which contributes to promoting the emirate of Abu Dhabi as a touristic destination that promotes cultural festivals throughout the year.” Emirates Palace will offer all the necessary services and host the most prominent chefs participating in the festival, including 17 head chefs holding together 22 Michelin stars and three Chefs Hat Category, and six of the finest dessert bakers, and a list of invitees and public figures.
The festival, which will be held at a number of hotels in the capital, will include courses on how to excel in cooking, celebrities dinner, UAE’s royal and Palaces dinner, the golf ceremony, a charity event, the Middle Eastern cooking and Arts of Cooking awards ceremony – Abu Dhabi 2011.” Three of the Emirates Palace luxurious restaurants will participate in the festival, where Mezzaluna restaurant will deliver its finest Italian luxury dinner on February 6, 2011 The famous seafood restaurant Al Sayad, will also host a dinner on February 9, As well as Mizlai with its Specialized local meals from the UAE’s heritage.
