Dubai eGovernment released its official magazine ‘e4all’

Dubai eGovernment has released the February issue of its official magazine ‘e4all,’ which aims to update government employees and the public on eGovernment services and the emirate’s path towards a knowledge-based community.

The editorial, written by the director-general Ahmad bin Humaidan highlights how departments and the public benefit when there is competition for excellence, said a statement from Dubai eGovernment.

The cover story entitled “Analysis and Evaluation of 21 Dubai Government Websites” shows the latest rankings for department websites and analyzes the overall progress made by departments as per Dubai eGovernment website standards and guidelines.

Other feature articles include the smart systems used by Dubai Civil Defence to monitor and protect buildings against fires; the newly launched portable office called ‘Amer’ from DNRD which allows visa related government work to be done at convenience from your office or home.

There is also a statistical study, which shows a rise in the amounts collected by Dubai eGovernment’s ePay portal in 2010 as well as a review of the websites of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Police from the perspective of the ‘Customer First’ vision of Dubai eGovernment, it added.
