Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) extended its rally to the seventh straight session, inching up 0.26%, or 4.32 points, to 1652.76. The benchmark hit its intraday high and low of 1655.48 pts and 1634.74 pts successively.
Trading volume fell 5.58% to 322.3 million shares, compared with 341.64 million shares exchanged on Sunday.
Turnover dropped 20.2% from AED 369.15 million to AED 294.62 million. The number of transactions also went down 0.7% from 4731 to 4698.
Out of the 33 stocks traded today, risers outnumbered fallers by 16 to 8 while 9 others kept flat.
