UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured the fifth edition of the Cityscape Abu Dhabi exhibition, which opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on Sunday.
During his tour Sheikh Mohammed visited the trade show’s various pavilions as he familiarised himself with real estate projects to be implemented in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohammed began his tour with a stop at the Tourism Development and Investment Company’s stand, where he was briefed on a project under development on Al Saadiyyat Island.
As he made his way around the exhibition halls, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his satisfaction with the positive signs of growth in the real estate sector in Abu Dhabi and around the country. He went on to describe the event as a source of confidence and optimism which bodes well for the UAE.
He also affirmed that the UAE would continue to lead the way in various fields no matter what challenges it faces, considering such challenges as a test of the country’s youth and national institutions.
Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2011, a four-day event which this year sees the participation of more than 300 regional and international companies, was opened earlier today by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
