University students are being asked what they think about the quality of the education they are getting in Dubai.
An online survey by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has gone to students at some of the international universities in Dubai. The students have until May 5 to complete almost 40 questions, which will give KHDA an overall picture of student satisfaction.
Results gathered through the survey will be used by KHDA and the Government of Dubai to identify ways to improve education for university students in Dubai. Results will be shared with the universities, although institutions will not be named.
Dr Warren Fox, Executive Director of Higher Education at KHDA, said: “This is a unique opportunity for us to make contact with students and hear their voice. It is our first attempt to learn from them what they think about the quality of their education and the choice of programmes on offer in Dubai.
“Their answers will have an impact on our decision-making, as we shall be able to assess better what our students need. We carried out a pilot process at one university last month, and we will share our findings with the universities later in the year.â€
