With Burj Khalifa entering the Architecture Series of LEGO®, the bricks’ building concept is definitely expected to gain more popularity among residents of Dubai. Few toy stores stock a variety of Lego sets and their collections contain on the average about ten different models distributed across all age groups. Variety is not comparable to the choice at the most popular online retailer Amazon . Prices in Dubai are also double and even triple than on the Internet.

Very interesting for boys aged between eight and twelve, right now is the Harry Potter series. It consists of a variety of models with a different number of LEGO bricks, including: The Durmstrang Ship, Hogwart’s Express, Hogwarts Castle and many more.

Lego’s master builders develop useful skills and are offered great jobs around the globe, from architects to interior designers. They enjoy building massive, sophisticated models and some become the masterminds behind incredible projects. Now there is a great opportunity for children and adults to learn their tricks, whether they want to eventually compete for a spot on the team, or just build really cool stuff at home.

On June 1st, Lego is launching the Master Builder Academy, a three year program that will train you in the ways of a brick building Jedi. To get started, you need to buy an MBA Space Designer set online or in stores for $29.99. It comes with 178 bricks, a sorting tray and box, and an 84-page design handbook. The handbook includes the standard Lego instructions for building an object. The first in this programme is a spaceship, but its construction requires you to use some very specific building techniques. The handbook contains a lot of extra details and explanations about why they are important and how they are used.

Once you have completed that first kit and learned your first lesson, it is time to continue your MBA. To do that, you go online and subscribe to a year of the Lego MBA for $69.99. Then every two months for the next 5 months, you receive new handbooks and more bricks all of which will fit into the box and tray from your first kit.

Year two of the MBA will begin in 2012, and year three in 2013. So far, the plans are to proceed in the same manner, where you subscribe and get new books and bricks on a regular basis. And don’t worry if you start late, because you can pick up kit 1 at any point, and still get the next kits in their proper order.

There’s lots more to the MBA program, including exclusive minifigures for each skill level you’ve achieved, and access to skill tests, additional challenges and building ideas on the Lego MBA website.
