UAE Vice resident, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasised that providing adequate housing and decent life comes at the top of the government’s priorities.
Sheikh Mohammed’s words came during his approval of the new regulations for the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, which included a number of amendments to the main components of the programme and its objectives to take into account humanitarian cases and family circumstances of the beneficiaries of all categories.
The decision to adopt the regulations also comes as part of the Federal Government’s efforts to provide UAE citizens with a dignified standard of living in a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations.
The new list Included exceptions in terms of eligibility for certain categories of citizens benefiting from the programme that mainly included the disabled, orphans, the elderly and other categories.
