Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) ended in the positive territory. It added as much as 0.22% (3.41 points) to 1559, compared to yesterday’s closing level of 1555.59. The measure peaked to 1559.19 and bottomed out at 1543.66.
Trading activity retreated compared to Monday’s levels, according Mubasher data.
Traded volume dropped 35.9% to 68.7 million shares, compared with 107.25 million shares. Similarly, turnover fell 38% from around AED 129.4 million to about AED 80.2 million. The number of transactions also decreased 26.8% from 1794 to 1312.
