Facebook’s marketing director and sister of founder Mark, Randi Zuckerberg, on Wednesday confirmed that she will be leaving the social networking giant to start her own company.
“It is with mixed emotions that I announced my departure from Facebook today to launch my own initiative. More info soon,” Zuckerberg tweeted today.
Zuckerberg’s new company will be called RtoZ Media and will focus on helping companies embrace social media. Her goal is to launch new innovative programming and work with media companies to develop their programming in more social ways. Facebook will definitely remain a central element in all of her venture.
