In his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued Law No.13 of 2011 regulating the organisation of economic activities in the Emirates of Dubai.
Article III of the law states its objective to organise economic activities in the emirate to create an environment conducive to boosting investment in Dubai.
The new legislation also seeks to enhance competency and coordination between relevant authorities in Dubai to facilitate business interests and promote economic growth through a reliance on accurate and transparent information.
Such a move is intended to allow businesses to benefit from the latest technological systems when drafting marketing plans, while publicising investment opportunities in the emirate.
