The Palace – The Old Town, the elegant Arabesque hotel in The Address Hotels + Resorts portfolio, has won two top laurels at the prestigious Gulf Connoisseur Awards 2011.

The Palace – The Old Town, located in Downtown Dubai, described as ‘The Centre of Now,’ won the awards for ‘Best City Resort Hotel’ and ‘Best Thai Restaurant’ for its Thiptara restaurant.

Centrally located near business nerve-centres and in the heart of the city’s most-visited tourist destination, Downtown Dubai, The Palace – The Old Town offers the privacy and pampering comfort of a resort.

The Palace – The Old Town offers 242 spacious and luxurious guest rooms and 81 suites with a captivating Middle Eastern theme. All guestrooms and suites feature authentic Arabian interiors including dark wood paneling and furnishings. The rooms have balconies with views over the Burj Lake, The Dubai Fountain or The Old Town Island.

Complimentary wireless Internet, flat screen TVs, coffee machines and 24-hour stay are standard in all rooms and suites.

Thiptara, which won the ‘Best Thai Restaurant’, serves authentic Thai cuisine in a contemporary setting. The restaurant offers breathtaking views over Burj Lake and The Dubai Fountain, and has a spacious terrace for al fresco dining in cooler climes. It gives guests the opportunity to experience a meal, prepared as per their recommendation by the chef, at the ‘chef’s table’ adjacent to the kitchen.
