CorpStation, the Dubai-based marketing agency, developed the interactive version of the Environmental Atlas of Abu Dhabi Emirate, which has been commissioned by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) and the Abu Dhabi Government Environmental Data Initiative (AGEDI) .
This comprehensive dynamic website includes high quality diagrams, photography and illustration as well as rich media highlights, 3D animations and a wide range of interactive maps.
The project will highlight Abu Dhabi’s extensive activities towards setting an excellent example as a leader in connecting people to high quality environmental information that enhances education, awareness and motivation to protect an incredibly rich environment that lives on the edge.
A beta version of the site will demo at Eye on Earth summit, scheduled on 12-15th December 2011 and hosted by EAD, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
In order to make the Interactive Environmental Atlas an essential tool for teachers and students, CorpStation included educational resources such as downloadable lessons, teacher briefings, printable resources, photo quizzes, classroom posters, online tutorials and images.
The Beta version of the Interactive Atlas will be viewable at www.environmentalatlas.ae using Firefox browser.
