Following the overwhelming success of the 2011 edition of the ‘Battle of the Chefs,’ a widely followed industry event that showcases the best in culinary talent in Dubai, The Address Montgomerie Dubai, the organiser and host of the event, is taking it to the next level for the 2012 edition.
The next year’s Battle of the Chefs competition will commence on January 18 and will mark the start of 16 rounds of the competition open for chefs from all hotels in Dubai.
Each participating culinary team must include one Head Chef or Restaurant Chef, one Chef de Partie and two commis. The team must create three unique and flavoursome dishes – all using the same ingredients. The Battle of the Chefs will be hosted at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Nineteen.

An Executive Chef will be designated as President of the judging panel, and guests will also have the opportunity to score the dishes. Registration is free; however entries are on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 10 slots available.
