du launches Music Store

Du has introduced its new mobile music proposition called the Music Store, a subscription-based music download service. Du mobile users can download five full length songs of their choice which they will own permanently.

The service will also allow Du customers to share songs they like from the music store on to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The social integration will enable users to “like” a song on Facebook, share that tune with their friends via a Facebook wall post, or tweet about it on twitter.

Du launched Music Store with a library of over 10000 of the latest songs and popular hits – catering to numerous nationalities across different music genres, including Arabic, Western and Bollywood. The library is constantly enriched with new and varied content additions to keep in line with the latest music trends.

Du is the first telecom service provider in the region to provide downloadable full length audio tracks at attractive prices on a subscription model with languages such as English, Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, and more.
