Britney Spears is planning a “tropical” wedding at the end of the summer.
The singer got engaged to Jason Trawick in December and is hoping to tie the knot with him later this year.
Britney Spears has been married twice before, so contrary to previous reports has decided against having a lavish party and instead wants it to be small, but special.
“It’s going to be a very intimate wedding with only immediate family and very, very close friends,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
“It will probably be a destination wedding in a very warm, tropical location or a fantastic place like Dubai. There is absolutely no drama with the planning of the wedding and Britney will probably wear an off-white dress that will show off her killer bod. Britney’s sons are absolutely going to be a part of the ceremony as ring bearers, and Jason has something very special planned for the boys that will take place during the wedding.”
The site also claimed the pair are planning to marry before the warm summer months end.
It’s previously been claimed Britney Spears wants her nuptials to have a country theme. She was thought to be considering tying the knot in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, and hoped to achieve a relaxed vibe.
“She wants a traditional Southern-style wedding with comfort food, surrounded by her family, her two sons and all of her childhood friends, as opposed to a Hollywood wedding,” an insider claimed last year.
