Demonstrating its burning desire to ensure customer satisfaction until the very last minute, Global Village maintained the world class quality of its events and shows – even after the decision to extend the current season from the 3rd to the 31st of March. Over 20 countries presented their arts performances on the various pavilion theatres, with three daily shows. The Lebanese, Palestinian Dabka, Egyptian Tanoura and Saudi and Jordanian pavilion shows all thrilled expatriate visitors who had a nostalgic yearning for their homelands. They also catered to cultural explorers who wanted to discover more about other cultures’ traditions and folklore.
During the 151 days of the season, popular attractions have included the Dancing Fountain and Water Screen. There were also several other attractions which brought a very high turnout, and almost all of these attractions were being unveiled for the very first time in the Middle East. Not to be outdone, the restaurants and kiosks have also witnessed a very positive response from visitors, who greatly benefited from the generous discounts and unique offers.
Looking ahead, Global Village is now gearing up for its upcoming season by welcoming applications from investors and entrepreneurs to rent kiosks, restaurants, pavilions and capitalize on other investment projects. These lucrative opportunities have attracted massive interest from investors of various nationalities, age groups and backgrounds, thereby opening the door for increased participation in the 17th season.
As this season draws to a close, there has been intense competition between exhibitors to attract visitors; and the biggest winners have been the customers, as the offerings are improving almost daily. Given all the factors above, it is hardly surprising that Global Village is seeing a major influx of thousands of visitors, resulting in a very busy period as everyone tries to get one last piece of the pie before the curtain comes down on a truly remarkable season
Global Village has also seen a major influx of a very busy audience of thousands at the end of last week, as visitors sought to extend the joy of the events. Their enjoyment will continue for a long time in coming years, especially with the presence of new additions next season.
