Saudi German Hospital-Dubai contributing to UAE’s 15% yearly growth in medical tourism
Dubai’s newest hospital, Saudi German Hospital-Dubai recently embarked on initiatives to reinforce the UAE’s position as one of the world’s leading medical tourism destinations.
Research firm Business Monitor International indicates UAE medical tourism grows 15% annually. The UAE is attaining premium rankings, leading the GCC in superior healthcare expertise, affordability, availability and brief waiting periods.
The Saudi German Hospital-Dubai attended the European Medical Tourism Expo in Berlin, Germany from 25-27 April, in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority. The hospital also facilitates educational sessions for travel agencies, and advertises vigorously on top satellite channels to entice tourists for the betterment of the UAE’s health sector.
