Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) today launched the Arabic edition of the Dubai Calendar Events Guide, a monthly publication that puts the spotlight on all major events taking place in Dubai. The Arabic edition was revealed today for the first time at the DEPE stand at Arabian Travel Market 2012.
The Arabic edition of the Dubai Calendar monthly events guide follows the enormous success of the English edition, which was launched in March 2012. The initiative has been applauded by DEPE partners, retailers, event organizers and the public for the key role it plays in promoting and raising the profile of Dubai events and tourism sectors.
Events listed in the Dubai Events Guide have been noticeably successful and as a result, DEPE has received several inquiries from companies and organizations requesting information on how to partner with Dubai Calendar and be part of the monthly guide.
The Dubai monthly guide is part of the Dubai Calendar initiative and was launched as part of DEPE’s strategic plans to develop and boost the events sector in Dubai and the plan to be the primary source for all monthly events taking place in the city.
The month of May in Dubai will include over 20 various events, including the Arab Media Forum, Sandance Festival, An Evening with John Cleese, the 2012 AFC Futsal Championship, the Al Gaffal 60ft Traditional Dhow Sailing Race, and many more.
DEPE celebrated the first anniversary of Dubai Calendar on the first day of ATM 2012, highlighting its milestones and growing popularity with tourists and shoppers from around the world, who rely on this initiative to learn more about Dubai events and plan their trips accordingly. The Dubai Calendar also provides a unique source of information for retailers and events companies who refer to the calendar to organize their events without conflicts, and plan their promotions during shopping festivals.
