Dubai Frame project launched

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum ordered the implementation of the new Dubai Frame Project at Zabeel Park.

Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, reviewed the project’s blueprint and attended a presentation offered by Engineer Hussain Nassir Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, that will supervise the design phase and execute and manage the project, an added-value to Dubai’s touristic attractions once completed.

Director General of Dubai Municipality stated that the AED 120-million project is a promising touristic venture expected to attract over two million visitors. He added that the construction is 150 meters in height, 105 meters in width and will give the visitors a spectacular view of Dubai’s skylines.

Lootah indicated that the project includes services and entertaining facilities, a museum and floors made of glass panels covered with paintings and artistic works.

He assured that the project will start in four months and will be completed by the end of 2013.
