Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced today payment of one month salary bonus for health professionals in medical fitness centres in Dubai in recognition of their loyalty, dedication and honesty in performing their duty.
The government gesture would stimulate the health and fitness workers to maximise their efforts for serving clients and preserving public health.
The bonus would be paid along with the current month salary.
The DHA chief made the announcement at the end of a tour he made along with Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Merri, Director of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, of the Safa Health Centre and Al Muhaisnah Medical Fitness Centre to inspect quality of medical services provided to applicants for health fitness certificates and health cards.
He said the busy Al Muhaisnah Medical Fitness Centre today used one of the most advanced blood test device and the first of its kind in the UAE and the region at large.
This, he stressed, underscores the DHA’s commitment to Sheikh Mohamed’s instructions to provide high quality health services to clients.
He noted that about 1500 expatriates enter Dubai daily for work and residency.
Al Muhaisnah Medical Fitness Centre conducts between 3200 to 5000 medical examinations a day for applicants of residency visas.
Major General Al Merri said the Centre’s residency and foreign affairs unit issued about 460,000 new residency visa and renewed more than 350,000 in the first half of the year.
