Taking place from 17th to 20th of October, the 5th Dubai International Dance Festival 2012 will be the largest dance event of the year. It will feature 3 days of performances, LIVE Entertainment, workshops, themed dance parties, dance competitions, International guest DJs and more.
During the past years, the Dubai International Dance Festival saw an increase in audiences, higher accessibility through ticket offers, and a fantastic array of international and homegrown talent taking part in a large number of performances.
For the first time in 6 years, this year will be an “all under one roof” festival. And not just any roof! Participants will have the opportunity to dance, watch international shows, shop at hundreds of stores, stay in a 5 star hotel, watch movies at the cinema, enjoy food from around the world, ski, and much more, all under one roof!
The Festival is an unique multi-arts event and has a reputation for attracting some of the finest young dance companies, classical dance academies, youth orchestras, bands and music ensembles from around the region and the world.
The Festival is also a catalyst for the creation of new work and creative activity, with an education programme and artistic collaborations with organizations throughout the UAE, the Middle East, and the rest of the world.
