Currently the smartphones’ market is ruled by Android. Despite that fact, there is a huge hysteria around the release of the Apple’s iPhone 5. That could be partially attributed to the fact that the mobile devices are known for the high quality of their digital cameras, mp3 players and portable games.

Recently, Apple has added some new features. The fierce competition on the smartphone market drives producers and inventors to constantly develop and improve the already existing devices.

One of the new features of the next generation iPhone can put in danger your wallet. Why? Because you would be able to use the phone as a debit or credit card. Specialists say that the device will use an inbuilt-chip to perform the functions of a credit or debit card. In addition, with the new iPhone 5 you will be able to make small transactions. This would be possible thanks to a special technology called NFC chip. NFC stands for “near field communication”. Through NFC chips the new devices will exchange information by establishing a short-range relation between them. In order a person to use this device for transactions, all that needs to be done is to program the NFC.

Some other remarkable features of Apple’s iPhone 5 include:

  • Nano Sim – The different rumours about Apple’s iPhone can successfully boost its popularity on the market. According to one of these rumours, the new iPhone will have nano sim. Furthermore, there were a few pictures of Apple’s new phone which hinted that.
  • 19-Pin Connector – The old version of iPhone had a 30-pin connector. The new iPhone 5, however, will be enabled with a 19-pin connector.
  • Larger Screen + 5-row Icon Button – Some of the rumours about the new iPhone device point to a larger display size and icon buttons. Some claim that iPhone 5 will have a 5-row icons. If that is true, the new device will certainly offer a different view. In addition, iPhone 5’s resolution is rumoured to be around 176 pixels which is larger than the previous version of the mobile device.
