KidZania, the award-winning children’s edutainment centre managed by Emaar Retail LLC in The Dubai Mall, will host a ‘Scary Fun Festival’ with exciting activities all based on spooky themes for Halloween from October 30 to November 10, 2012.
KidZania®’s streets will be decorated to create a fun and spooky ambience to entertain the little ones. Scary Fun Festival will feature Halloween costume contests, various themed activities around the city including spooky face painting, scary fun puppet shows, Halloween themed treats at the Culinary School and Pizza Shop, special treats and many prizes to be won.
Children will be encouraged to be creative and take part in a costume competition where judges will reward the best dressed based on the material used, the originality of the costume, make-up and their interpretations of the characters they portray. Children can win prizes such as tickets to KidZania®. Visitors to KidZania® will join the family of mascots, Beebop, Chika, Urbano, Vita and Bache, who will also be dressed in Halloween costumes.

It features offices, university, fire station, race track, radio station, pizzeria, hospital, bank, theatre, among others, all scaled down to a smaller, child-friendly size. Children dress up in real-life uniforms and perform realistic professional tasks in a fun and meaningful way.
