According to few people, the end of the world, the Mayan Apocalypse, will come in a couple of days. If you too are concerned that doomsday is near, you can now check that yourself. As December 21st gets closer, anyone will have the chance to observe the space and see if something worrying appears on the horizon.
That will be possible thanks to a special space camera that will broadcast views from space this week. The service is provided by Slooh Space and it is already available at http://www.slooh.com. Its purpose is to enable the Earth’s inhabitants to watch for any possible threats like big asteroids, solar storms or other dangers hiding in the space.
From Slooh explain that they’ve decided to offer this service after they saw that expert opinion and analyses were not enough to calm people down. We remind you, that countries all over the world report a mass panic and supply stockpiling caused by the mythical “end of the world”. With the space camera, anyone will be able to see for himself/herself that there is nothing to worry about.
Also, Slooh will show live images from observatories on the Canary Islands and Arizona, the U.S. Every day, the broadcast will pay attention to different problematic areas like a collision with another planet or asteroid, sun eruptions and etc.
Various scientists have already made numerous attempts to prove that there will be no Apocalypse on December 21st. NASA even issued a special material called “Apocalypse Debunking FAQ” in which it explained that there is no reason or evidence pointing that Armageddon will come this week.
Nevertheless, Friday is an important day in science since it is one of solstices of the year. On December 21st, will be the beginning of the summer in the Southern Hemisphere and the winter in the Northern.
Therefore, don’t waste any time preparing for the end of the world. Instead, calm down and prepare your wardrobe for the season!
