WSA-mobile and hosting partner ADSIC unveil program for Global Mobile Congress in Abu Dhabi. Angry Birds godfather Harri Koponen and mobile visionary Tomi Ahonen among eminent speakers. World´s best mobile app developers to present their innovations at the event.
Today, WSA-mobile Chairman Peter A. Bruck has announced the official program for the WSA-mobile Global Congress that will take place in Abu Dhabi from February 03rd to 05th 2013. The congress will be hosted by the Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC). It will offer a platform for high level experts, industry leaders and government representatives to discuss innovation in mobile content. “With app stores becoming the world’s most vibrant marketplaces, the question of quality content is getting crucial. WSA-mobile seeks to foster the richness of mobile content and showcase local apps with global relevance.”
Angry Birds nest in Jumeirah Hotel
This year’s conference program will include panels, keynote-sessions and hands-on workshops about multiscreen marketing, mobile game design and mobile learning. Renowned experts such as US star-author Janine Warner, mobile visionary Tomi Ahonen and Angry Birds co-creator Harri Koponen will be among the speakers. Furthermore, high ranking representatives of the Abu Dhabi government and the United Nations will attend the congress, which will take place in Jumeirah hotel at the Etihad towers.
Mobile Cure for Teenagers with Diabetes
To showcase the huge potential of mobile content, 40 outstanding app developers from all over the world will present their products to the congress participants. Applications for Alzheimer patients and Diabetes self-care will be presented as well as mobile banking services and augmented reality apps. Furthermore, five from out of the 40 app producers will be awarded WSA-mobile global champions 2013.
