Rumoured Specs
Samsung’s Galaxy note 8.0 will probably be released in two main models – a WiFi edition and a WiFi and 3G one. This is a typical trend among devices that offer Internet connection. The new tablet is predicted to run on an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The screen of Galaxy Note 8.0 will probably be a Super Clear LCD one. In addition, it may have a standard resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
Also, Samsung’s new product is said to rock two cameras – a 1.3MPx front and a5MPx rear. It is expected that the Korean company will release the device in two models in terms of memory capacity – a smaller 16GB and a bigger 32GB. Galaxy Note 8.0 may come with a robust 4600 mAh battery.
To Challenge Apple
The parameters of Samsung’s new tablet are not much different from those of its predecessor, Galaxy Tab 7.7. Nevertheless, Galaxy Note 8.0 may be a good rival of iPad Mini. That is mainly because that two devices are similar in size, yet they are bigger than other popular smart devices on the market. In addition, the tablet may offer functions that are different than those offered by Apple’s iPad Mini.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Note is expected to come with an S-Pen stylus, which is traditionally seen with other touchscreen products of the giant. However, there is still no information about the processor of Galaxy Note 8.0.
