The Oil Barons Charity Ball will auction four packages on March 8th at Dubai’s Meydan racecourse. Guests can bid across an array of exclusive packages that relate to golf, horseracing, tennis and rugby. All four packages include VIP tickets for tournaments that include the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships 2014, Dubai World Cup 2013, Dubai Tennis Open 2014 and a home game to one of the UK’s elite rugby teams, the London Saracens..
Winning bidders of the Money Can’t Buy packages will enjoy a whole host of privileges. The golf package includes a round on the greens with Matteo Manassero, notable for being the youngest golfer to win a European Tour event. Sponsored by Dubai Duty Free, the horseracing and tennis packages include access to VIP hospitality venues and a rare chance to meet world-famous sportsmen and women.
Rugby fans can enjoy a package that includes director’s box tickets to watch a London Saracens home game of their choice, as the team continue their quest for success in the Avira Premiership and across Europe.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) society, a charitable organization that provides medical, financial and moral support to cancer patients in the UAE
Over the last four years, the Oil Barons Charity Ball has raised an impressive AED 2.4 million for the FOCP. For its 10th anniversary and with the help of the Money Can’t Buy auction, this annual fundraising event promises to build on last year’s AED 1 million donation for the Sharjah based FOCP.
