The next edition of Gulfood in 2014 will be extended to 5 days, upon orders by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Also, two new events, “Global Summit on Food Security and Investment, and Dubai International Food Festival, will be added next year to the 2014 edition of Gulfood which is organized,hosted and managed by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The two events will be held at the DWTC, the current venue of Gulfood.
The extension builds on the success of the current edition of the exhibition which is a trade-only event and is open to business and trade visitors from within the industry only.

Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organizer of Gulfood, said Dubai has become a global food industry hub.
The extension of the duration of Gulfood to 5 days in 2014 represents the response to the business community’s increasing demand, he added.
